I bought this and am delighted. The interior light is great, all sturdy construction, comes with four keys and beeps can be silenced. The mounting plate arrangement is troublefree. Remove shelf to really reach gun easily. I leave a Spfield 4" XD 45 in there with light on rail. Better value than competitors, esp. with mounting plate.

Mine came with a motion sensor that goes off if it's bumped or moved. In practice, I rarely enable it. This is a great little safe that can hold 2 or more guns, is easy to program, and does just what I need it to. Takes a lot of batteries, but they last forever. It takes a little effort to get the battery tray in and out, not too bad though.

perfect for my needs

I've had this safe for over a year. Still has the original batteries in it. I have probably opened the safe on average 3 times per month. Comes with keys so you can open safe to reset combo (if you forget it). I can open the safe in less than two seconds. The shelf is cheap plastic, but on the whole this is the best small rapid access safe I have seen for this price. I am very happy with it.

i don''t even know how long i''ve had mine. at least 8 years and only recently had to change batteries. i easily keep a 92fs and a pm9 along with documents in there. works great. fast/easy access.

Perfect solution to keep weapons away from kids. Versatile programming - combination can call for the pressing of two keys at once. I''ve had mine for seven years and am still using the original batteries. In addition, the prevailing price at The Gun Source is only $5 higher than what I paid seven years ago. I wish I would have known about The Gun Source then. I am purchasing another one today, to give to my daughter.

Arrived quickly and in good condition. It works great. It''s on the floor next to my bed. The door is facing up (so the back is on the floor). I can easily type in the combo and the door pops open by spring force. All that''s left is to reach in (a small light goes on for a few seconds) and grab a gun. Takes just a couple of seconds. It came with four keys. Meanwhile, my wife will be going for the 20ga shotgun secured in a ShotLock. Anyway, can''t go wrong buying this safe.

This was my 2nd purchase of a bedside safe after the one from the leading manufacturer failed to open consistently within the first two days. The quality of the DAC is superior in nearly every way, especially the locking mechanism. It is sturdy and roomy enough for at least two handguns, though probably a tight fit.
Believe the multiple reviews outlining failures to open of the leading manufacturer''s safes and purchase this one. You won''t be sorry.

This was my second DAC safe. I was so impressed with the first one, that I ordered the second. They are perfect for my use. I have one in the bedroom and one in my den. I now have quick access to my weapons, and do not have to worry about my grand kids getting access to them. Great product. I received the safe in perfect condition and in a timely manner.

great small safe, I was looking for something I could keep one or two handguns right my bedroom, just in case I needed to access them quickly. I have two children so I can''''t leave them un locked, I wanted something I could gain access to quickly and it be close to my bed.
