For what it is designed to do it is very good. I would use them for practice and preliminary sighting in and change to higher velocity, bigger bullet loads for deer. I shot a deer with one of these loads and again with standard loads and the damage of the higher velocity load was much more evident. I use them for squirrels and varmits and target shooting. Go big for deer, you never know when a true Monarch is going to atep out of the woods!
