I have done a review on these before. I ordered two that had to have the locking latch removed and fitted to get them to lock onto my model 80C. I concluded this was because of poor workmanship during assembly at marlin (or wherever they have them assembled). I ordered another and that one fit correctly. The original, (that came with the 80C many years ago), was of a slightly better quality. The follower is now red plastic as opposed to metal on my original. All in all, it''s a good product. The Gun Source customer service is great and the shipping is fast. Great company to deal with.

I ordered a total of three of these for my model 80C. My 80C is from the mid 60''s. I had to remove the locking latch on the first two and file the edge to get a good fit. The third one fit without any modification. These clips are not as well made as my original, but they are not that bad. They have a red plastic follower instead of the metal one on my original clip. The gun source customer service was great as was the fast shipping.

These were just what I needed for my Marlin 25. I ordered (5) since they were on sale at clearance prices. I now have plenty for shooting, but may order a few more if the opportunity comes around again.

After receiving an older model Marlin 22lr from my grandfather I noticed that he didn''t give me a magazine with it. To make a long story short the magazine was pretty hard to find and I couldn''t find it at any of the many gun stores in my area. After checking on line I was surprised at the high cost of the the few places I could find this little 7 round magazine. Before the gun source, the cheapest I could find this magazine was just over $20 dollars, plus shipping. So I came across The Gun Source and and found it for much less than the competitors and after ordering it, it showed up in the mail two business days later. I''m ordered other gun items from other businesses before but have never received anything as quickly as I did from this web site. Because of the good prices and speed of service I''ll always check this website first when looking for my gun supplies.

The replacement was as described and I was pleased with it. However, the first one I ordered was the wrong one. As a suggestion you might want to rethink your restock fee when it is an exchange.

Two years ago I could buy these magazines in any sporting goods store in the area. Now they seem to be as scarce as hens teeth. It''''s great to be able to to find through Marlin Firearms Source. My Marlin model 20 has a lot of sentimental value.It''''s nice to still be able to use it and not hvae to upgrade.

I ordered 4 of these magazines for a Marlin 25 I own. They were shipped within minutes of my placing the order. When I received the magazines, I went the process of checking each in my rifle. All but one fit out of the box. One was so tight that I had to take the rifle apart to get it out. After getting the magazine out, I dressed the shoulders down very slightly with a fine grit sandpaper. After dressing the shoulders down, the magazine was easier to remove than the original. I repeated the process of each magazine. Now, they are a perfect fit and a pleasure to use. If you need a new magazine for your Marlin 25, these are what you need. Just be aware that they are a tight fit. I had no problem using 22 shorts with these magazines either.
