Great value. Not the fastest thing to put on and take off, and not secure enough to deter a thief, but surprisingly secure enough to keep your kids from firing the gun without the key. Fits my Glock 22 well and locks down tight, but have to leave the trigger forward because the little plastic bar passes through behind it.

Inexpensive way to lock the trigger, Would not recomend to use for a lock on a defense weapon, it''s not a key lock, the so called key is more of a little screw driver. If the weapon your using it for stays put away for long periods of time it''s good little safe gaurd. I gave it 4 stars because of the screw instead of a standard lock.

simple plastic lock tough and sturdy and at a great price. I bought this to replace the cable lock because I felt like it was going to strain the recoil spring if i left the slide locked open in storage, or at the very least lessen its longevity

It''''s ok for what it is: a cheap bit of plastic that after some wiggling helps to lock the trigger. It might be useful for ]1[ adding a layer of bump protection during transport, ]2[ meeting legal requirements for transporting firearms in a locked manner, and ]3[ keeping small children from accidentally squeezing the trigger. It can be opened with a bent paperclip and 30 seconds, so any determined individual over the age of 6 could probably get this lock off the gun in very little time.

This is a two piece lock. I''''ve seen other similar locks that were a single piece. The center piece in the picture is basically a bolt - it screws into a nut in the other piece. Not pictured is an internal rod that also locks in to the other piece. Works perfect on a skelaton-ized 1911 trigger.
These are low end and inexpensive, but they will keep the little ones out.
I did forget to take the key the last time I went to the range - a fine point pen worked fine to unlock it.

These trigger locks are decent for their cost. Don''t expect anything too sturdy or a fancy locking mechanism...it is merely a screw down bolt with a two prong key to tighten the screw in a heavy plastic casing. But if you''re looking for something simply to protect the trigger from being pulled while the gun is stored and don''t need rapid access to your gun, this fits the bill nicely for a very cheap price.

For the price offered, this trigger lock cannot be beat. I was not looking for one, but was offered it when I checked out during a previous purcahse. It serves its purpose as designed and the Lexan plastic will not scratch the gun. The trigger guard keys are tiny, but a simple key ring attached to the car keys will hopefully not get lost.
